I am

i am: making a difference in this country… not really, I’m just bored at work.
i think: too little, too often. lol
i know: I will get better at doing my job with time.. this should be for I hope.
i have: a low tolerance for fake people.
i wish: I could BE at the Lions and All Blacks game tonight.
i hate: smoking
i miss: my family, speshly when I’m broke. lol
i fear: the unknown and those ugly ass seasnake looking things.
i feel: relieved its Friday afternoon and I don’t have work in the morning.
i hear: my colleagues AM radio, the hum of the Air Con, and the ticking of the clock
i smell: the sesame sauce I spilt on my collar from lunch.
i crave: Vailima after a run… lol
i search: for answers, when really I should figure out the questions.
i wonder: who will win the game tonight.
i regret: nothing, I’m not too pleased about some past decisions, but no regrets.
i love: my family, rugby and a good laugh.
i long: for my own ride.
i care: about people, about my job and about which rugby team you support… l…

watching the clock...

Ok, so I'm at work... its about my 9th day on the job and I have nothing to do... seriously. Perhaps its the all the rugby on tonight or perhaps its Friday and I'm lazy, but I am dying for the working day to be over already! Don't get me wrong... at the risk of sounding like the over eager graduate, I actually enjoy my job! Well, so far, so good shall we say... but today is just one of those days. *Yawn*

So I was reading the paper, as you do on such days... and I came across this article that, well... let's say I'm "feelin'" what this guy is saying. So, I thought I'd share.

Rare glimpse at paradise lost
By Peter JenkinsJune 10, 2005

THERE is one certainty about tomorrow's Test at Telstra Stadium. The fat cats of the International Rugby Board will not be watching.Proud Samoa will be making a rare appearance against a heavyweight rival. But the IRB bosses, holed up in Ireland as the so-called guardians of the game worldwide,…

It's been a while

Taking it all in my stride.
It’s been quite a while since I last blogged up in here. Not for lack of wanting, more for lack of opportunity and time to recently. I’ve been back from New Zealand for just over a week now and I’m now in my second week at work. It’s going well so far. Some bits of the job I don’t like, like the fact that it involves way more numbers than I ever thought I’d be comfortable with. Also I don’t like that my work uniform or access card isn’t ready, nor is my computer for that matter. I’m trying to remain in an optimistic opportunistic frame of mind though, and taking it all in the great learning stride that is finding my feet in my first job. Nor am I harbouring any great expectations that this job will be the greatest thing to ever happen me and will be the avenue for me to start changing the world. Its, not so nice bits aside, the job task itself is proving to be sufficiently challenging and interesting (not that that threshold is ridiculously high) and it loo…
